In the fifth framework program of the European Community (Improving Human Potential) the members of the infrastructure cooperation network HYDRALAB have made an inventory of experimental facilities in Europe. This inventory focuses on the following types of hydrodynamic and ice-engineering facilities:

All members of HYDRALAB (see fig.) have participated in this inventory by collecting data on facilities that were supplied by the various institutes with experimental facilities.
The objective is to provide the European Community with an overview of the most important characteristics of the hydrodynamic and ice-engineering facilities in the European Community and associated countries.
The European Commission, within the fifth framework programme IHP funded the inventory.
These Internet pages give an overview of the inventory. For details and more information one is referred to the specific facility provider or the HYDRALAB coordinator, A.G. van Os.
The Infrastructure cooperation network HYDRALAB is grateful to IAHR for putting this overview of the inventory on the internet.
