Abstract: In natural rivers with movable bed bed forms occur. Depending on flow regime ripples, dunes (lower flow regime), standing waves or anridunes (upper flow regime) can be observed. In order to generate bed forms of the upper flow regime model tests were carried out. Using these data points a dimensionless Re*-D*diagram for determination of bed forms even in upper flow regime was found. Bed forms play an important role concerning the river roughness. For calculation of hydraulic parameters in stream with antidunes an equation is given.
