Abstract: The present issue of Hydrolink focuses on the threats to deep lakes, resulting from climate change and increased nutrient loads from various human activities. The preparation of the four articles on lakes published in this issue was coordinated by the world renown limnologist Professor Jörg Imberger,who served as Guest Editor of this issue.
