WRc and Wallingford Software in Business Alliance Agreement
WRc and Wallingford Software have announced a business alliance
that benefits users of hydraulic analysis and water supply modeling
packages. Algorithms developed by WRc for its Watnet software will
now be integrated into Wallingford Software's product, InfoWorks
WS. Watnet, used widely for simulating water distribution systems,
water quality investigation and leakage control, was originally
written and distributed by WRc. However, with the trend very much
towards integrated modeling packages, WRc feel that an alliance
with Wallingford Software will better serve both their existing
customer base and potential users. Many existing users of WRc's
Watnet are also using Wallingford Software packages, thus now enabling
customers to benefit from the InfoWorks common modeling platform.
