Numerical Model
I am looking for an existing numerical model to predict landslide
generated waves on reservoirs. Does anyone know of a model that
is currently available? Ryan P. Mulligan, M.A.Sc., E.I.T., Coastal
Engineer, Hay & Company Consultants Inc., 1 West 7th Avenue,

New Sand Feeder
We are planning an experiment in the wave basin which requires
the input of a constant sediment input by a SAND FEEDER. The existing
ones are quite old (vibratory type) and difficult to regulate and
maintain a steady flow. If you could give me the address/contact
email/Fax of a laboratory supplier who can supply us with a modern
SAND FEEDER it will be a great help. Contact: H.P.V. Vithana, Research
Associate, WEM/SCE, Asian Institute of Technology, P.O.Box 4, Klong

Mathcad Coastal Engineering Toolbox
I've been using mathcad for few years now in the field of coastal
engineering. I'm very satisfied with the program and I'd like try
to set-up a mathcad coastal engineering toolbox, based either on
Mathcad sheets or on C/C++ dll. I'd like to know if any members
would be interested into some co-operation (or information) on the
development of this toolbox. I'd also be interested into any mathcad
user feed-back. Yann Chatelus, e-mail: yann.chatelus@wanadoo.fr
Looking for a job opportunity
I am looking for any job opportunities in the coastal engineering
field. I have a B.S. in Systems Engineering with a concentration
in environmental systems from the University of Pennsylvania. After
graduation, I worked for a short time with Land Use Environmental
Corp., a coastal maintenance and restoration corporation. Just recently,
I returned to the United States having completed my service as a
Peace Corps Volunteer in Mauritania, West Africa.
I would appreciate being notified of any available coastal engineering
positions. Kerry Luisi, e-mail: kerry_luisi@yahoo.com
