From: Dr Christopher George IAHR To: Hubert Chanson Cc: jochem Subject: Re: Rivers-List: Steel dams Date: donderdag 6 januari 2000 10:28 Hubert, Happy New Year! I am pleased that you are using Rivers-List - I sense that most of the subscribers don't know yet how it works - and you are showing the way. Dr Roger Bettess is about to take over the managing of the list - Alain Petitjean, Chair of fluvial hydraulics, has got totally diverted with problems in EDF. We are still very interested here in the Secretariat in the idea of housing your photo collection on our server. We have a new dedicated server for IAHR just arrived and we have absolutley no problems of space. By putting your collection on our server it could help build up your collection more quickly by attracting more traffic to both our sites. We are hoping to go live with our new Home Page at the end of this month.
