From: Martin Teal To: Rivers List Subject: Rivers-List: Open Channel Video Clips Date: 18 April 2000 21:03 Dear colleagues, Do you have or know of any video clips of open channel flow phenomena in digital (e.g., MPG) format that you would be willing to share? Increasingly we are seeing non-engineers in classes we teach that have limited or no knowledge of open channel flow.  We are therefore seeking short video clips that could be incorporated as part of the open channel flow lectures.  Because video cassette equipment is often not available, we are looking for something that could be stored on a laptop computer. Footage of hydraulic jumps, flume studies, and hydraulic structures (model or prototype) would be of special interest.  We would of course acknowledge the source of any video clips.  Thank you for your attention and help. -- Martin J.
