The International Water Law Project (IWLP) announces the launching of its new dedicated and redesigned website. Located at www.internationalwaterlaw.org, the new IWLP website features a tremendous amount of information pertaining to the regulation, allocation, management, and conservation of transboundary freshwater resources.  The new IWLP includes:

  * News from around the world pertaining to international and domestic watercourses and other water bodies;
  * Full text of many international and regional water treaties and agreements, including historic agreements not readily accessible to researchers;
  * Case law on water disputes from international and regional tribunals;
  * An extensive bibliography of literature on international water law and policy, including the full text of various publications;
  * Geographic and statistical data on various transboundary watercourses and international water basins with links to related treaties and agreements;
  * Links to other useful web sites on water issues;
  * Calendar of water law and policy related events.

As the IWLP website continues to expand and obtain additional material, we hope that the site will prove useful for students, practitioners, government officials, and scholars of international law.  If you wish to be informed when content is added to the site in the future, please sign up for the site's announcement list, found on the site's opening page.

IWLP was developed by Gabriel Eckstein, Esq., and Wil Burns of the Pacific Institute for Studies in Development, Environment, and Security.
