The East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority is looking for a suitable person to fill the following position: Project Manager Snowy River Rehabilitation Concept Plan Trial EAST GIPPSLAND CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY The Position: A full time position exists for a Project Manager to develop and implement the trial of an exiting project to rehabilitate the lower Snowy River. The position will be based in Orbost with regular travel to the Authority’s main office in Bairnsdale required. The Person: You will have tertiary qualifications, preferably post graduate qualifications, in natural resource management, engineering or fluvial geomorphology, and have experience in project management. You will have knowledge and experience of waterway management, restoration and rehabilitation techniques. You will have the ability to achieve objectives within time and budget constraints and have excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. The Benefits: A suitable remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant in accordance with qualifications, skills and experience and the appointee will be required to enter into a contract of employment for two years.
