Over 900 water professionals share knowledge at the 38th IAHR World Congress in Panama
Over 900 water professionals, institutions, authorities and researchers from around the world attend the 38th IAHR World Congress in Panama City to exchange knowledge and raise the most pressing global water issues. The Congress program is based on six main themes, it offers 19 Special Sessions and 10 keynote lectures, Technical Visits and Young Professionals activities. The event started with the IAHR Technical Committees meetings, where the future activities were discussed.
The Congress was inaugurated by Peter Goodwin, IAHR President, together with Congress Chairman Carlos Vargas, and with participation of the Chinese vice minister of Water Resources Jiang Xuguang.
