ABSTRACT
In this paper, methods and software tools for GIS-based planning and decision-support in Integrated Water Resources Management are presented. The approach results from the project ˇ°Integrated Water Resources Management in the Pilot Region Middle Olifants River, South Africaˇ±. The developed tools facilitate getting an overview on quaternary catchment level in order to identify hot-spot areas with increased problem intensity regarding water quality and with a priority call for action.
