Using of hllc effective method for modelling of wave-induced dam failure under mobile bed conditions

ABSTRACT
In the current study, it is developed an efficient numerical model for dam failure phenomenon under mobile bed
conditions. The model based on the finite volume method is implemented using unstructured triangular grids. The
governing equations consist of the shallow water equations and Exner equation. HLLC approximate Riemann solver is
used to model fluxes at the cell interfaces. Comparing the present model results with the results of other researchers
demonstrates the accuracy and efficiency of the present model.
