Experimental Study on Flow from Side-Weir in Meandering Channel with Rectangular Cross Section

In this study, we tried to estimate the discharge coefficient for the meandering channel. Our hydraulic experiments are classified into two types. One is the complicated flow which includes the supercritical flow and the subcritical flow. The other is the subcritical flow. The discharge coefficient is 0.55 for the formertype and is 0.41 for the latter type. These values are larger than the original value in the Honmaformula 0.35.
