Numerical Modelling of Currents and Water Levels Dynamics under Operational Spillway of Bureyskaya HPP

In article hydrodynamic calculation of Bureyskaya HPP spillway is considered at various variants of span openings. Numerical calculations were spent on the basis of the modified shallow water model, allowing to consider a slope and curvature of a spillway surface and possibility of a stream separation from a bottom surface as a flying flow. It is shown that numerical results are coordinated well enough with the experimental data on discharge capacity of a spillway at various variants of span openings and also on distance of stream flight in downstream area. It is shown also that numerical results are well coordinated with experimental data on dynamics of a free water surface in downstream area.
