An experimental study on flow capacity in lian-lu hydrocomplex

The influence of the channel forms near the sluice’s upper stream and down stream on the flow structure is mainly considered, i. e., when flows direction of the progressive flow departure the sluice longitudinal axis, back flow and asymmetry of the flow through the sluice will decrease the water discharge. The laws of the back flow and it s asymmetry that influences the discharge have been analyzed based on the experimental data of Lianlu flood release sediment sluice at the Tao River. The experimental results show that the modified calculation formula of the water discharge of Lianlu hydrocomplex is reasonable and has enough accuracy.
