Calculation of the Ice Abrasion Depth from the Ice Hummocks on the Concrete GBS Structures in Okhotsk Sea

Experience in operating platforms in the Okhotsk Sea has shown that ice abrasion is a dangerous phenomenon and can cause destruction of the material in the zone of variable level. Ice conditions are most difficult to consider them. The authors propose a probabilistic model of ice hummocks loads and impacts, based on statistical data about ice conditions. Research of the model of the ice hummocks loads and actions based on the numerical experiment, where the characteristics of the ice abrasion depth of concrete platform constructed in the project «Sakhalin-1 Arkutun-Dagi GBS Project» were obtained with the help of the experimental study the intensity of ice abrasion of concrete. The calculating of the ice abrasion depth is based on four codes SNiP, VSN, SP and ISO/CD. This article discusses the results of calculating the depth of the ice abrasion of concrete gravity base structure Arkutun-Dagi fields from the ice hummocks load.
