IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Tenure-Track Assistant Professor – Civil and Environmental Engineering

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Western New England University seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in August 2016. Candidates for this position must have a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field and must have demonstrated ability or potential for excellence in teaching and research at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate is expected to (1) teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in civil and environmental engineering; (2) develop and maintain internationally recognized externally funded research; (3) support the missions of Western New England University and the College of Engineering; and to (4) pursue scholarly activities and lead student organizations. Candidates with the ability to teach geotechnical engineering and reservoir engineering courses are encouraged to apply. Industrial or postdoctoral experience is desirable and a P.E. license is required for tenure.
