IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Staff Environmental Hydrogeologist or Engineer, Charlotte, Noth Carolina, US
Key Responsibilities:
·         Provide technical support to Project Managers on assessment and remediation programs
·         Coordinate and implement field sampling and provide oversight support for environmental assessment and remediation projects – including soil boring and monitoring well installation, environmental sampling, field data collection and note taking, and soil and groundwater remediation oversight.
·         Acts as a data gatherer; prepares portions of deliverable including text, tables, and figures.
·         Follows company safety standards and site safety standards.
·         Progresses toward professional registration.
