IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Project Wastewater Treatment Engineer, Los Angeles, CA, US
Requires expertise in wastewater treatment design and a strong knowledge of local/regional wastewater market in the Southern CA area specifically. Projects may include work on sewer collection systems and lift stations, pipelines and wastewater treatment plants; with wastewater treatment process design and modeling, bench and pilot scale treatability tests, hydraulic evaluation and design, developing design reports, construction documents and specifications, as well as construction oversight and administration. Particular focus for this position is in Waste Water Treatment design and we are looking for a successful candidate, who has strong design experience. However a solid process background would be considered.

The right candidate for this position is passionate about Wastewater Treatment and enjoys both the development of a project and then running with the job once the project starts.
