IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Sr. Water / Wastewater Engineer, Birmingham, AL, US
Projects may include work on water distribution systems and pumping stations, sewer collection systems and lift stations, pipelines and water/wastewater treatment plants; with water and wastewater treatment process design and modeling, bench and pilot scale treatability tests, hydraulic evaluation and design, developing design reports, construction documents and specifications, as well as construction oversight and administration.

Position includes, but is not limited to:
• Stormwater and Water / Wastewater facilities design, permitting and construction administration experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplined municipal water distribution systems and pumping stations, sewer collection systems and lift stations, storm water systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants projects.
Advanced engineering techniques and computations requiring application of various engineering standards, procedures and criteria.
