IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Postdoctoral Fellow Position in Hydrodynamic Modeling, Singapore
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at National University of Singapore invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow The successful candidate will be involved in the development and implementation of an unstructured-grid coastal ocean model. 
 
Applicants must have a Ph.D in Civil, Environmental or Coastal Engineering, Physical Oceanography or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will have experience in three-dimensional unstructured-grid modeling (SUNTANS, UnTRIM, FVCOM), unstructured mesh generation, solid programming skills in C and be comfortable with working in a parallel computing environment.position in the area of hydrodynamic modeling.
