IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Assistant Professor MECH/CIV - Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Air Quality University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus, Canada
All candidates should either have, or be eligible to pursue, registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Relevant industrial experience and collaborative networks are desirable.
 
Area of Priority:
 
MECH/CIV – Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Air Quality
 
A position is available within the Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering Programs, with research interests focused on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), turbulence modeling, multi-phase flows and air quality modeling. Preference will be given to candidates who are capable of developing a research program in air quality and pollution control, with an emphasis on the study of gaseous pollutants and particle emissions to support decision making and the development of technologies for the minimization of pollutants in air.
