IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Job opportunity "Engineer Coastal & Offshore Structures (m/f)" (I.M.D.C.) - Antwerp, Belgium
As part of the Harbour & Marine Structures team you collaborate on the entire cycle (feasibility studies, proposal process, detailed design, tendering process and realization) of (inter)national projects concerning offshore windmills, harbours and marine structures.
Your technical knowledge allows you to independently elaborate smaller (or parts of larger) projects, taking into account planning, budget and technical requirements.
You guide a small team of less experienced colleagues and you manage the contact with the client, the sub-contractors and other persons involved.
You take initiative to ask more experienced colleagues for feedback in case of problems, limitations to your own knowledge, ...
