IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Research Studentship Opportunities Project title: Modelling Nutrient Fluxes and Sediment Interactions for the Severn River and Estuary, Cardiff, UK
The project will focus on the refinement of integrated 1D, 2D and 3D models for predicting improved hydrodynamic and nutrient processes in river and estuarine basins. Click here for further details.
Supervisors:  Prof. RA Falconer, Dr R Ahmadian, Dr B Bockelmann-Evans
Eligibility: UK, EU students who have been resident in the UK for three years at the course start date; other candidates who can demonstrate a connection to the UK, usually through residency.  Other EU applications may be eligible for a fees-only award.
