IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Principal scientist (climate change) at HR Wallingford, UK
HR Wallingford is looking for a principal scientist to join our water group to lead our activities in the climate change sector.
The role covers climate change in the UK and internationally, focusing on hydrology, water resources, food and water security, climate resilient infrastructure and adaptation. Knowledge of a wide range of climate impacts is desirable, for example business, buildings, infrastructure, agriculture, forestry, natural environment. You will have excellent business development skills that are underpinned by a strong technical foundation.
