IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

PhD position High Resolution Precipitation & Urban Hydrology at TU Delft, Netherlands
A new PhD position has opened at TU Delft under the RainGain project. 
We are looking for a candidate with an MSc degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or an equivalent degree and a strong interest in scientific research. The candidate will be collaborating closely with radar experts operating a state-of-the-art polarimetric X-band radar in the Netherlands and with an international team of researchers involved in the RainGain project.
