IAHR, founded in 1935, is a worldwide independent member-based organisation of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. Activities range from river and maritime hydraulics to water resources development and eco-hydraulics, through to ice engineering, hydroinformatics, and hydraulic machinery.

Senior Flood Risk Modeller- Westminster-Tuflow, UK
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and have achieved or are working towards Chartered status. 

It is also essential for applicants to have experience working within a UK based Consultancy completing Tuflow Modelling, Flood Risk Assessments and Flood Alleviation Schemes. 

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience mentoring teams and completing drainage designs using WinDes. 

Typically the role will involve the following; 
-Flood Risk and Drainage Projects. 
-Flood Risk Assessments. 
-Hydrological Assessments. 
-Surface Water Management Plans. 
-Flood Alleviation Schemes. 
-Flood Risk and Catchment Modelling. 
-Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow. 
-Drainage Impact Assessments. 
-Drainage Strategy and SuDS Design using Windes. 
-Flood Mitigation Schemes. 
-Training and Mentoring Team Members. 
-Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients.
