Senior Project Manager (Marine)

Looking to apply your expertise in the Coastal, Maritime and Offshore Environments.

DHI UK is looking for a client focused, technically driven project manager/engineer/scientist to manage and develop our diverse project portfolio in the marine environment.

As a key part of the DHI UK team, you will take responsibility for delivering technical projects with a high degree of innovation.

You will have specific technical expertise in one or more of our core business areas, along with the ability to co-ordinate technically diverse specialists from both the UK and other DHI offices.

The core business areas for staff member involvement are:

Technical project management

Offshore renewables (wind, wave and tidal)

Coastal and ocean engineering

Metocean modelling data and services

Offshore oil and gas

Ports and terminals

Offshore, coastal and hydraulic structures

Qualifications:

MSc/MEng, Ph.D. or similar in offshore/coastal engineering or physical oceanography

Minimum 7 years of experience in either technical project management, specific technical skills in metocean/maritime or numerical modelling

Understanding of hydrodynamics and numerical modelling of ocean flow and waves with experience in MIKE by DHI models preferential

Client focused and business development enabled

Personal skills:

Self-motivated and able to work on your own and in a team

Innovative, proactive, curious and dedicated to obtaining results making a difference

Strong communication skill

Sales minded with management skills

Proficiency in English
