At an international Symposium on Ecohydraulics held in Beijing on Saturday 28th May the new IAHR Journal of Ecohydraulics was launched with support from the Institute of Water and Hydropower Research (IWHR). The event was attended by the IAHR President Peter Goodwin, other IAHR Council representatives, Chair of the IAHR Ecohydraulics Committee and members of the JoE Editorial Board, the Advisory Committee, Associate Editors and Editorial Review Panelists.

The new journal is in response to strong interest shown by the ecohydraulics community following a survey carried out last year. For more info visit: http://www.tandfonline.com/loi/tjoe20#.V1aQ1EhJnX4

The Co-Editors in Chief of the new Journal are Paul Kemp of the University of Southampton, UK, and Christos Katopodis of Katopodis Ecohydraulics, Canada.

All IAHR members will receive the new journal as a free member benefit during 2016. AUTHORS ARE INVITED TO SUBMIT PAPERS TO THE NEW JOURNAL!
