Abstract: By iterated function system (IFS), a new simulation of hydrologic series can be achieved. This method, different from the traditional one, is easy to deal with an irregular and complex data pattern. The result shows that it matches the observed data with enough interpolation points and the first fourth moments can be well preserved.
