The Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with the IAHR Committee on Experimental Methods and Instrumentation and the IAHR Poland Young Professional Network organized a webinar focused on Experimental Methods and Laboratory Instrumentation in Hydraulics from 13 to 15 April 2021.
Through keynote lectures and technical sessions, the webinar promoted experimental methods, instruments, measurement techniques, and data analysis routines for hydro-environment studies at the laboratory scale.
Specific topics of interest include (but are not restricted to):
Velocimetry (Acoustic-based, Laser-Based, Optical, Pitot, HWA, Micropropellers)
Pressure measurements (Transducers, From velocity data)
Density and concentration of single- and multi-phase flows (Optical and fluorescence, Laser based, Sampling)
Interfaces, Free surface phenomena (waves, gas and heat exchange), Thermography, X-Ray
