IAHR Netherlands Young Professionals Network

About us

The IAHR Netherlands Young Professional Network is a diverse group that facilitates the collaboration of young professionals and students interested in the fields and topics promoted by IAHR.

The Netherlands YPN strives to create a welcoming environment where people can share and gain knowledge to raise awareness about hydro-environmental issues. The YPN seeks to enhance academic-industrial ties while assisting young professionals in the development of critical professional skills. Creating a vast platform that will serve as a roundtable for ideas, creativity, knowledge exchange, and partnership is an important objective of the YPN.

To accomplish these goals, the Netherlands YPN will promote and support initiatives that bring together young professionals from consulting companies, research institutions, businesses, and other organisations who are interested in exchanging expertise in the field of hydro-environmental engineering at both the national and international levels. The Netherlands YPN will host meetings, conferences, and seminars and work closely with other YPNs, disseminating information and updates on research outcomes and opportunities through its website, social networking sites, and conferences.

In short, the Netherlands YPN will serve as a hub for scientific and social activities of academic researchers and practising engineers working in hydro-environment.
