The 8th IAHR Europe Congress will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 4 to 7 June 2024. 

IAHR and the Congress Organising Committee invite you to take part in the 8th IAHR Europe Congress. The Congress central theme is Water-Across Boundaries, covering aquifers, rivers, reservoirs and dams, estuaries, coasts and ports, urban water, hydroinformatics and experimental methods, climate change and risk mitigation and governance and water resources management. The event will bring together scientists, engineers, young professionals, students, and companies to share experiences and present the most recent developments in R&D. 

Submit your abstract by 1 September

We are pleased to announce that the online abstract submission process is now open on the website, where you can also find details about the preliminary programme. The abstract submission deadline is 1 September 2023. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed, and the Congress International Scientific Committee (ISC) will inform contributors if their abstract has been selected by the beginning of November 2023. 

Authors who would like to write a full paper for proceedings (not necessary for participating at the conference if not wished by the author) will then have a six-week period to submit their full paper, after which they will be reviewed for final acceptance.
