With more than 2400 employees, the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Development Center Sichuan Province is managed by the Sichuan Provincial Water Conservancy Department in China.

The Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Development Center Sichuan Province protects the water resources, water ecology and water conservancy projects in the sphere of irrigation in accordance with the Chinese law, maintains the order of water affairs in the sphere of irrigation, undertakes flood prevention and drought control scheduling, operation management and maintenance of the water conservancy project within the scope of its duties. It guarantees water supply services for 11.332 million mu of farmland in 40 counties (cities and districts) in seven cities of Chengdu, Mianyang, Leshan, Deyang, Suining, Meishan and Ziyang. Overall, its services help more than 28 million people.
