Mi Lin

Mi Lin is a Water Specialist in the World Bank with a major in natural resource management. She holds a PhD in Natural Resource Sciences from McGill with a focus on groundwater management, and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Peking University. She has 12 years’ experience in project management and water-environment research. The projects she led included interdisciplinary research, technology innovation, and business initiatives. Mi Lin has been dedicated to promoting the nature-based solutions and digital innovation in the past few years through multiple initiatives in the Future Earth, UNDP, and recently the World Bank. She is currently supporting the analytical studies and operational projects for Water Global Practices with a regional focus on East Africa (including projects in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Somalia).
