IAHR and the Spanish Council of Civil Engineers (CICCP) will collaborate to promote scientific development and knowledge exchange.

The purpose of the Agreement, is to establish the framework for collaboration between the CICCP and the IAHR, facilitating the exchange of knowledge in their respective areas of activity. The agreement aim at facilitating the collaboration between both associations. The main goals are:  

• The celebration of joint technical and scientific events   

• The participation during events, congresses and in publications  

• The dissemination of activities  

We expect this collaboration to bring new perspectives, allow a higher level of networking and build strong bonds between organizations.   

About The Spanish Council of Civil Engineers  
The Spanish Council of Civil Engineers (CICCP) is the professional institution in Spain that represents and defends the interests of civil engineers on an exclusive basis. It was created in 1954 with a direct link to the Civil Engineering profession.  Since its creation, it has been a national single institution, organised territorially into demarcations, which coincide with the Spanish autonomous communities. The CICCP regulates the profession of civil engineer in Spain.

National Congress of Civil Engineering

The Spanish Council of Civil Engineers has successfully hosted the IX National Congress of Civil Engineering with a significant turnout. Over 500 attendees filled the Agustín de Betancourt Auditorium and various rooms provided by the College. The event was also available for remote participation, reaching audiences in 20 different countries through live streaming.  Among the speakers participating in the Congress, high-ranking officials from the public administration and leaders of the main companies and business associations in the sector stood out. During their presentations, they reflected on the present and future of civil engineering.
