Join the upcoming meeting of the IWA / IAHR Joint Committee on Urban Drainage! It will take place on 9 June 2024 at 13:30 pm CEST during the 16th International Conference on Urban Drainage

The JCUD Management Committee serves a crucial role in guiding our initiatives, from organizing workshops and conferences to contributing to influential publications. For over 40 years, our strength has resided in the diverse expertise and passion our members bring to the committee.

During the meeting, we aim to exchange international developments in urban drainage, plan upcoming activities, and address important decisions, including the election of new members and a new chairperson.

We are currently seeking nominations for individuals to join the management team. Ideal candidates are actively involved in urban drainage, able to dedicate time to committee activities, and possess the initiative to propose and implement new endeavors. Please note that nominated individuals must be or become members of either IAHR or IWA within one month of election. Additionally, we can only accept one member per country, with exceptions for Canada, Germany, Malaysia, Norway, South Africa, the UK, and the USA.

To nominate yourself or a colleague (with their consent), please submit a brief CV and a statement of past and planned activities and contributions to the current JC Chairman, Dr. David McCarthy (david.mccarthy@monash.edu), with a copy to JC Secretary Manfred Kleidorfer (Manfred.Kleidorfer@uibk.ac.at). Each document should not exceed one page and should use a font size of at least 10 points.

The deadline for nominations is 19 May 2024. All applications will be reviewed by JCUD members, with results announced following our meeting on 9 June 2024.
