The IAHR Working Group on Transient Flows is pleased to invite you to participate in the 1st IAHR International Meeting on Transient Flows, which will be held on 25–26 November 2025 at the Carapina Pavilion, Greater Vitória Metropolitan Region, Brazil.

This international meeting is jointly organised by the IAHR Working Group on Transient Flows and the Technical Committee on Hydraulics of the Brazilian Association of Water Resources (ABRHidro). Originally conceptualised during the 2023 IAHR World Congress in Vienna, the event will take place alongside the XXVI Brazilian Symposium on Water Resources. The meeting will provide a dedicated platform for researchers, professionals, and industry leaders to share insights and developments on transient flow phenomena, modeling, and real-world applications.
