IAHR is looking for rapporteurs (between the ages of 18 to 35) who will be tasked with providing summary reports during the 41st IAHR World Congress, to be held in Singapore from 22 to 27 June 2025. As part of their role, rapporteurs will attend and document the High-Level Panels, which bring together international experts to discuss key global challenges in water engineering. The following sessions will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, 24–25 June 2025, at the Singapore EXPO Meeting Rooms (Room 1):
-Panel 1 – Water, Cities and Climate: Interconnectedness for a Sustainable Future
-Panel 2 – Flood-Resilient Cities: How do We Get There?
-Panel 3– Empowering a Just and Inclusive Energy Transition: The Strategic Role of Hydropower
-Panel 4 – From Digital Acceleration to Real-World Impact: Scaling Innovation in Water Engineering
Rapporteurs can be students or young professionals with skills that will be invaluable for distilling the content of the various sessions. Rapporteurs will be the decisive instrumental part of the reporting and conclusions process.
Candidates should be between 18 and 35 years old and be proficient in English.
Candidates should have good knowledge in at least one water topic and ideally enrolled in a university level water area of study.

The IAHR Secretariat and Congress Secretariat will review the applications and notify the candidates.
Selected rapporteurs will receive a welcoming package including more detail on roles and responsibilities a few weeks before the Congress, and a first online meeting will be organised to get to know the team and to answer remaining questions.
