The proceedings of the 40th IAHR World Congress (Vienna, 2023), published by the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR), have been accepted into Clarivate’s Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), confirming their high editorial standards and scholarly impact.
Under the editorship of Helmut Habersack, Michael Tritthart, and Lisa Waldenberger, the proceedings benefited from a rigorous editorial process—carefully selecting, reviewing, and structuring each contribution.
Following this acceptance, IAHR has entered into a formal partnership with Clarivate. Under this arrangement, IAHR may submit all past and future volumes directly to a specific address for evaluation, bypassing the standard open-call process and ensuring a more streamlined review.
Although the partnership grants priority submission rights, each volume will continue to undergo the standard assessment against Clarivate’s 26 selection criteria—including the rigour of peer review, editorial quality and international relevance—before indexing.
By securing this partnership, the Proceedings published by IAHR ensures enhanced visibility and faster indexation for its scholarly output, helping to consolidate the congress’s reputation as a leading forum for hydro-environment research.
