The IAHR/IWA Joint Committee on Urban Drainage (JCUD) is seeking three new members for a 3-year term. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals passionate about international collaboration in urban drainage and interested in topics such as hydrological modelling, green infrastructure, artificial intelligence, or water quality.
The IAHR/IWA JCUD promotes global cooperation and knowledge exchange among experts worldwide. Whether your focus is on blue-green infrastructure, particle transport, or cutting-edge modelling tools, this committee offers a space to grow, lead, and shape the future of the field.

Estimated time commitment: 3–5 hours/month
Number of vacancies: 3
Application deadline: 31 August 2025
Target regions: We especially encourage applications from South America, China, India, and Oceania.
Eligibility note: Due to committee statutes, applications cannot be accepted from Austria, Canada, France, Italy, Malaysia, Norway, Serbia, Uganda, or the UK.
