This distinction highlights the commitment of IAHR and UNESCO-IHP to educational excellence, fostering innovative and sustainable solutions to address global water challenges.

About the Graduate Programme in Hydraulics and Water Resources
Incheon National University's graduate programme in Hydraulic Engineering, under the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, is designed to cultivate experts in smart water management, water resources systems, and hydroinformatics. Originating in response to Korea’s growing demand for resilient water infrastructure, the programme integrates hydrological modelling, real-time water quality monitoring, and AI-driven decision support. It has evolved through collaboration with public agencies (K-Water, local governments), international universities (EuroAquae consortium), and industry partners. The curriculum reflects both Korea's national water challenges and global trends in digital water management.
