Over the past decade, the IAHR Global Secretariat Beijing Office has served as a bridge not only between China and the world, but also the Asia Pacific region and the IAHR global family – advancing water science, fostering innovation, and strengthening global cooperation within the hydro-environment community. As we celebrate ten years of growth and partnership, we look forward to continuing our journey toward a more resilient and sustainable water future.

Since its establishment in 2015 and hosted in China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR), the Beijing Office has grown into a dynamic hub for international collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing, playing a pivotal role in advancing IAHR’s global mission – connecting members, supporting technical committees, organizing world-class events, and fostering exchanges between China and the international water community. Each milestone marks a new step in our shared commitment to science, sustainability, and cooperation.
