The IAHR Label for Water Training and Education is awarded jointly by IAHR and UNESCO under the Intergovernmental Hydrological Program (IHP) to institutions promoting and implementing excellence in training and education programs for competent and skillful professionals in the water sector. This distinction highlights the commitment of IAHR and UNESCO-IHP to educational excellence, fostering innovative and sustainable solutions to address global water challenges.

The purpose of the program is to train engineers with appropriate knowledge and skills that will enable them to fulfill tasks related to construction, maintenance, operation, management and professional administration.
