IAHR is exploring new ways to disseminate knowledge and professional experience by delivering short technical training courses, with a strong emphasis on practical aspects, in connection with World and Regional IAHR Congresses, and by further developing the recent series of IAHR Training Courses. Your feedback is essential to identify the most relevant training needs within our community and will help IAHR focus its efforts on developing high-impact educational activities.
This questionnaire has been designed by the IAHR Technical Committee on Education and Professional Development, with the objective of ensuring that future training initiatives respond to the real needs of IAHR members.

About the Education and Professional Development Committee
It aims at filling the gap between hydraulics research and the practice of hydraulic engineering emphasising the importance of application-oriented research and much larger-scale of involvement of practising engineers in the activities of IAHR, aiming at enhancing technology transfer in several aspects and brushing up the professional skills of engineers to cope with new developments in technology or professional practices.
