 Overview 

On 23 April we join UNESCO on celebrating World Book Day. That is why, in alignment with the movement Open Science supported by worldwide organizations, IAHR launched the Water Monographs SeriesPeer-reviewed, high-impact works freely available for anyone to read and download worldwide, ensuring maximum visibility and accessibility.
This series presents information on physical processes, measurement techniques, theoretical material, numerical modeling techniques, engineering applications, and historical and cultural matters in an appealing readable and well-illustrated manner.

To date, the series features six essential works covering the spectrum of hydraulic theory and practical application:

  1. Contribution to the Theory of Undular Bores: A journey around the Korteweg-de Vries equation.
