We are delighted to announce that the 17th International Conference on Urban Drainage (ICUD) will be held in Ningbo, China, in June 2027. For the first time since its inception, this prestigious conference will take place in China. We warmly invite you to join us in Ningbo – a historic and vibrant coastal city – to exchange ideas, share cutting-edge research, and advance the science and practice of urban drainage.

About the Conference
The International Conference on Urban Drainage (ICUD), supported by the IAHR/IWA Joint Committee on Urban Drainage, has been held sixteen times worldwide since its inauguration in 1978. The conference convenes academic scientists, researchers, and practitioners to exchange findings and experience across all aspects of urban drainage. It also provides an interdisciplinary forum to present and discuss recent developments, emerging trends, and practical challenges in the field. The 17th International Conference on Urban Drainage (ICUD 2027) will be held in Ningbo, China, from June 6 to 11, 2027. This marks the first time in ICUD's nearly 50-year history that the conference is hosted in China, reflecting the growing contributions of Chinese researchres and practitioners to international collaboration.

About the venue
Ningbo, a vibrant city with a population of 10 million, is located on the east coast of China, in the heart of the Yangtze River Delta. The city is connected to Shanghai by Hangzhou Bay Bridge -one of the longest sea- crossing bridges in the world. It offers more than 300 flights daily from/to domestic and international destinations, as well as more than 150 high-speed train services per day linking to most major cities in China.
