Deadline Extension: Submit Your Abstract by September 30 2026
The countdown to the 7th IAHR Young Professionals Congress has reached an exciting milestone. To date, 117 abstracts have been submitted, bringing together more than 168 lead and corresponding authors representing 38 countries across the world:
Asia and the Pacific (APD) leads participation with 39.3% of all submitted works, driven by strong turnouts from Japan and India.
Europe accounts for 25.6% of submissions, reflecting active involvement across 14 European nations including Germany, Russia, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, and the UK.
Latin America (LAD) and Africa each represent 12.0% of submissions, highlighting growing participation from Brazil, Peru, Senegal, Egypt, Ethiopia, and South Africa.
North America contributes 11.1% of submissions, with research groups from the United States and Canada.
To provide more early-career researchers and young professionals the opportunity to share their research, the abstract submission deadline has been officially extended to 30 September, 2026.

6 July 2026: Call for abstracts opens
13 September 2026: Call for abstracts closes
30 September 2026: Extended deadline for abstract submission
18 October 2026: Notification of acceptance
15 November 2026: Poster and final version of the abstract
2-4 December 2026: 7th YPN Congress
