This International Youth Day, we recognise our 55 incredible IAHR Young Professionals Networks and all our members and partners who are supporting our emerging water professionals!
The International Labour Organization has just released a new report on youth employment, which states that the Covid19 pandemic has exacerbated the many labour market challenges facing our youth.

The report also states that young people could benefit from the expansion of green and blue economies, and that an additional 8.4 million jobs for young people could be created by 2030 through the implementation of green and blue policy measures.
Through our IAHR technical committee on Education and Professional Development, we are focused on seeking and leveraging opportunities for youth in Hydro-Environment engineering and research to contribute to a better water future.
