Condolence messages

I am very saddened by the passing of yet another hydraulics giant in Prof Raudkivi, I had the opportunity to meet him a couple of times. He was a prominent expert in sediment transport and hydraulics from New Zealand.

If I recall Prof Raudkivi was also a successful entrepreneur, somewhat in competition with Canterbury Christchurch. He belongs to the generation of water engineers like Peter Ackers, who can connect fluid mechanics research. With the larger of scheme of civil engineering projects in a significant way.
